Welcome to Neyboapp. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our mobile applications (iOS and Android) and website services. Please read these terms carefully before registering your account.

Summary for Neighbors: Neyboapp is a verified, community-first marketplace. Every neighbor gets up to 3 free active listings. You can upgrade to Neybo Pro ($9.99/mo) for unlimited listings or bump listings for $1.99. Always meet at Safe Trade Zones and verify handoffs using Trade Pass QR codes.

1. Agreement to Terms and Account Registration

By creating an account on Neyboapp, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. To use our services, you must be at least 18 years of age. Registration requires a valid email address and password. Users may optionally submit a Government ID to undergo encrypted verification and receive an official Blue Verification Checkmark on their profile.

2. Prohibited Listings and User Conduct

Neyboapp is designed to be a safe, family-friendly local marketplace. Users are strictly prohibited from posting listings containing:

Illegal drugs, narcotics, prescription medications, or controlled substances.
Weapons, firearms, ammunition, explosives, or hazardous materials.
Counterfeit, stolen, replica, or trademark-infringing goods.
Adult services, pornographic materials, or sexually explicit content.
Spam listings, deceptive job offers, or predatory multi-level marketing schemes.

We reserve the right to flag, suspend, or permanently delete any listing or account that violates these standards or receives verified safety complaints.

3. Local Meetups, Trade Pass QR, and Transaction Disclaimer

Neyboapp operates as a local geofeed platform connecting community members. We do not act as an escrow agent, payment processor, or shipping provider for in-person transactions between buyers and sellers.

Trade Pass QR Verification: Once an agreement is reached in chat, users can generate a Trade Pass QR code to scan and verify each other's identity and deal terms during in-person handoffs. However, all negotiations, inspections, and exchanges of funds are conducted solely at the users' own risk.

Safe Trade Zones: To maximize personal safety, we strongly recommend coordinating all meetups at our designated Safe Trade Zones (such as local police stations, libraries, or municipal facilities) highlighted on the in-app map.

4. Paid Services: Free Allowance, Neybo Pro, and Bumping

We believe in transparent, straightforward pricing:

Free Plan Allowance: Every registered neighbor can maintain up to three (3) active listings simultaneously at zero cost. Once an item is marked sold or removed, a listing slot becomes available.
Neybo Pro Subscription ($9.99/month): Users who wish to list more than three active items, gain priority placement in the local geofeed, receive a Verified Pro Seller badge, and access listing analytics may subscribe to Neybo Pro for $9.99/month. Subscriptions are billed directly through the Apple App Store (StoreKit) or Google Play Store (Google Play Billing). Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless canceled through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings at least 24 hours before renewal.
Listing Bumping ($1.99): Any active listing can be boosted back to the top of the geofeed for a one-time fee of $1.99. Bumping fees are non-refundable once activated.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Neyboapp and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from transactions, meetups, user conduct, or item conditions originating from use of our mobile application or website.
